Here it is in complete night vision glory, the latest video from former Soul Coughing frontman Mike Doughty—27 Jennifers, starring twentyseven girls all named Jennifer. 27 Jennifers is from his new album Golden Delicious, set to drop February 19th. Fans of Mike Doughty will also likely notice that this track is in fact a remake of said song from his album Skittish/Rockity Roll, this time with less coffee house guitar picking and a lot more keyboards like all the white kids seem to enjoy.

Honestly, I’m digging the remake, and am looking forward to hearing the new album. I’ve been a Soul Coughing fan for years—they had a track on the first CD I ever bought Songs In The Key Of X: Music From And Inspired By The X-Files and fell in love with their sound the instant I heard them. I was super-stoked when I found out a while back that Mike was still making music.
