Speaking Silently
New Scientist has an article about a new high-tech collar that taps into the nerves which controls your speech. With a little practice the wearer is able to speak silently through the collar which can then transmit the thought speak to a computer for audible output. This tech could have a wide range of applications, but the coolest by far will be as a bad-assed spy communicator.
I could see my self getting in trouble with this. Imagine my wife asking me to do something for the 50th in 10 minutes. The first thing I’m thinking is not going to be able to be censored.
My mind would probably make the machine malfunction. After being interrupted from my intense internet surfing, my mind would not have nothing to say nice.
