North Carolina is prepared to replace over 10,000 license plates with the commonly used acronym WTF printed as the first three letters. Apparently, this issue came to light after the grandchildren of a 60 year old technology teacher clued her in on why they were ROFLing every time they saw her hooptie cruising down the boulevard. To add insult to injury, NC officials later realized that WTF also appeared on the sample license plate displayed on their website.

I can almost guarantee that they guy who's job it is to post that image knew exactly why it was funny.

Here's a little treat for all of my chummers who spend their day swimming in code. Damien Guard has developed a nice looking type family specifically for coding, Eny. From the looks of it, Damien is in the 7th round of iterations with this font, so feel free to send any comments or bugs you experience while using the font.

Or at the very least become radioactive mutant freaks. Okay, that's still a gross exaggeration, the point is that eventually the earths magnetic fields will need to switch and that could have a huge impact on the way future generations live. Sometimes I wish I were a little more handy with the whole wood working thing. Today is one such day as I've stumbled across an article on Hidden Drawers in antique furniture. The closest I ever got to this trickery was hollowing out books books when I was a kid. Not that I stored anything besides money, pocket knives and matches in the them. They were just a way to waste away all the free time I had when I was a kid. But enough about me, if you are interested in getting better at woodworking too check out Woodcraft's online library.

I told you last week that Beck is putting out a new album, Modern Guilt, sometime next month. Well, here is your chance to catch the first single off of said album. I listened to it once so far, and it's not too shabby—a little mellow, a little groovy, all in all a good first single.
