North Carolina is prepared to replace over 10,000 license plates with the commonly used acronym WTF printed as the first three letters. Apparently, this issue came to light after the grandchildren of a 60 year old technology teacher clued her in on why they were ROFLing every time they saw her hooptie cruising down the boulevard. To add insult to injury, NC officials later realized that WTF also appeared on the sample license plate displayed on their website.

I can almost guarantee that they guy who’s job it is to post that image knew exactly why it was funny.
